FIVE STEP PROGRAM:

 

1) EARLY SPRING APPLICATION (January 20 - March 31) Pre and post emergence herbicide (usually liquid) applied for control of spring & summer annual weeds. Liquid fertilizer. Shrub inspection

. 2) SPRING APPLICATION (April 1 - May 31) Complete balanced granular fertilizer on lawn and shrubs, spot spray escape broadleaf weeds. Shrub inspection.

3) EARLY SUMMER APPLICATION (June 1 - July 31) Proper rate of special blended granular fertilizer on lawn, spot spray escape summer weeds. Certain turf insect control if necessary. Shrub inspection.

4) LATE SPRING APPLICATION (August 1 - September 31) Proper rate of special blend granular fertilizer with winterizer on lawn, spot spray escape summer weeds. Certain turf insect control if necessary. Shrub inspection.

5) FALL APPLICATION (October 1 - December 20) Fall pre and post emergence herbicide (liquid) applied for control of winter annual and perennial weeds. Spot testing of the turf soil to check p.H. Lime is recommended if necessary.
